I need to in-place upgrade the OS of my primary site from 2012 to 2022, after that upgrade sccm from 2303 to 2309.

Currently the SCCM is attached to a CAS with other primary sites as well. Is there any dependencies like I have to upgrade the CAS first ?

Can I just upgrade my SCCM primary site without touching the CAS?

    Hi, @Marcus Wong Theen Nam

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Yes, we have to upgrade the CAS first.

Starting at the top-level site in the hierarchy, after the top-level site upgrades, you can begin the upgrade of each child site. Complete the upgrade of each site before you begin to upgrade the next site.
