Hi,

The computers in one of our remote locations failed to install the applications. After clicking install in software center, the application download stuck at 0%. The computers in our main site and other locations can install the applications without any issue. Any ideas?

Yes, this is common problem, when networks are not properly described for CM in Active Directory. So, basically your client uses some IP adress inside some subnet, and that subnet must be found in AD, and then brought to CM knowledge. Then, this subnet must be linked to a Distribution Point. After this, content will be available. There are few different options how to configure this, and how allow clients to behave regarding content availability in different zones and distribution points.

Start with something like this: https://www.deploymentresearch.com/back-to-basics-configmgr-distribution-points-and-boundaries/

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

It may be boundaries or distribution point issues. Please help check the following:

1,Please check if the clients are in correct boundaries and boundary groups.

2,Please validate the applications are successfully distributed to your DPs in the problematic remote location.

3,Make sure there is no DNS issue.

4,Please check the AppDiscovery.log, CAS.log and DataTransferService.log to see if there is any useful information.
