Server 2019 Print Server, copiers device settings reset to

How can I prevent copier device configuration from resetting on my Windows 2019 print server when using Canon UFRII or Canon Generic Plus PCL6 drivers with Image-Runner Adv copiers? This happens when the device Information function is set to Manual or auto.

    Hello,

    The issue you're experiencing is likely due to the device information settings.

    If [Device Information] is set to [Automatic], you can obtain device information and automatically set device functions and optional accessory information.

    Please also confirm whether the problem occurred after disabling the device information function.

    After checking, the device information settings are the settings of the Canon printer itself, which is beyond the support scope of Microsoft. It is recommended that you contact Canon for specific consultation.
