Outlook 2021 keeps asking for login to "Internet email" on outlook.office365.com via a popup (attached). I do and it keeps popping up>

I have this sign in problem for over a year. Sometimes I can sign in and works for a while then it doesn't. The popup sign in is the symptom. It won't load new emails until signin accepted. I used to be able to "repair" my acct, and it would work. . for a while. Now I can't repair, says "encrypted and nonencripted signin not working." Since I changed some settings.

Is there any real time MS office (2021) support to resolve this outlook sign in problem? I don't care to use web-based Outlook (it doesn't populate my subfolders) and MS Office 365 Basic is web-based Outlook.

I've had the MS Office 2021 reseller technician help me and changing some account settings. They haven't been working and sometimes they work for a while, then the server signin pops up. Here are my settings: outlook acct settings current.jpg

After my problems with basic "old" outlook, a "new" outlet popped up, and this version doesn't have these server sign in popup issues. But I don't care for this "new" Outlook, and my subfolders are not loading all emails. So I'd like to resolve the "old" Outlook if I can.

2.Considering the impact of the corrupted Outlook profile, it is suggested that you could try to create a new profile (Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>add) and add the account for testing to check if there are some differences.

This was an licensed MSN after-seller of MS Office 2021. The technician for the group said that the problem was with the email server "outlook.office365.com". . the tech said I should do the following:

To enter the email server settings in Outlook:

1. Open Outlook.

2. Go to "File" > "Account Settings" > "Account Settings."

3. Select your MSN email account and click "Change."

4. Under "Server Information," enter the following details:

- Incoming mail server: imap-mail.outlook.com

- Outgoing mail server: smtp-mail.outlook.com

5. Click "More Settings" and go to the "Advanced" tab.

- Incoming server (IMAP): 993

- Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS

- Outgoing server (SMTP): 587

- Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL/TLS

6. Go to the "Outgoing Server" tab.

- Check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication."

- Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server."

7. Click "OK," then "Next," and "Finish."

Alternatively, if you prefer using the Control Panel:

1. Open Control Panel.

2. Search for and open "Mail" (or "Mail (Microsoft Outlook)").

3. Click "Email Accounts."

4. Follow steps 3 to 7 from above to enter your email server settings.

I changed all this but the test email failed (see attached)

Then I tried again, and the little sign in popup kept popping up (see #2 attachment)

Based on my research, i found a thread mentioned how to configure MSN account in Outlook, it's suggested that you could refer to it: IMAP settings for @msn.com email address?. If it doesn't help, considering that the issue is related to MSN account, you can also post your issue in dedicated forum for Outlook.com for more professional advice.
