Does Web Application Transaction Monitor work in SCOM 2019 and above?

I am trying to "Start capture" and it opens up Internet Explorer instead of Edge.
Edge is my default browser since IE has been out of support since 2022.

Is there a way to get a recording session going using Edge instead of IE?

    Hi,

    The Web Application Transaction Monitor does work in SCOM 2019 and above. However, the issue you’re encountering with the “Start capture” feature opening Internet Explorer instead of Edge is a known limitation. As of now, the Web Application Transaction Monitor in SCOM 2019 still relies on Internet Explorer for recording sessions.

    Unfortunately, there isn’t a built-in way to switch the recording session to use Edge or any other browser directly within SCOM 2019.
