Changing domain of azure subscription to domain purchased from Godaddy.

From your description ,I Understand that you purchased the domain from Godaddy .So, you wish to change your Azure portal's domain subscription to this new domain, but when you try to create users for the new domain, they are unable to connect.If you want to modify the domain associated with your Azure subscription, you should understand that Azure subscriptions are not directly linked to a domain. Instead, subscriptions are associated with an Azure Active Directory (AAD) tenant that controls the domain. To use a new domain with your Azure AD tenant, take these steps:  

     Add the New Domain to Azure AD: 

1. Sign in to the Azure portal. 

Navigate to Azure Active Directory. 

Select Custom domain names. 

Click + Add custom domain. 

Enter the new domain name that you purchased from GoDaddy .You will need to add a TXT record to your domain's DNS settings at GoDaddy to verify Your Domain. 

Log in to your GoDaddy account. 

       7.   Go to the DNS Management page for your domain. 

       8.   Add the TXT record provided by Azure to verify the domain. 

              Once verified, you can also set up other necessary DNS records like TXT,MX.  

If your domain details are properly validated, you will view the status as verified, if the details supplied in your Azure account or Godaddy are incorrect, the verification will fail and the status will be unverified.

Create users with your custom Domain: 

After the domain is verified, you can assign it to users in your Azure AD. 

Google Workspace User Login Issues: 

Ensure that your DNS settings with GoDaddy are correctly Entered. Thís typically includes MX and TXT records, which are necessary for email functionality. Incorrect or missing MX records can cause login and email delivery issues. 

Verify Domain Setup in Azure AD: Ensure that the new domain is properly set up in     Azure AD and is listed as a verified domain. 

If you are using Microsoft Entra to manage external users or guests, ensure that these users have been properly invited and their accounts are configured correctly. 

Verify Access: Ensure that external users have the appropriate permissions and roles assigned.
