Error code 0x8007007E-0x90018 whenever tries to upgrade windows 10 from 32 bit to 64 bit
Hello!
I have x64 based processor and currently I am using 32 bit OS of windows10.
I have recently upgraded my RAM from 2GB to 10 GB out of which only 3.4GB is usable because i am running in 32 bit OS.
Hence, I need to upgrade it to 64 bit OS.
But the problem starts here, whenever I run the installation file, Error code 0x8007007E-0x90018 pops up in my screen , whenever I tries to upgrade windows 10 from 32 bit to 64 bit.
Kindly help me in solving this error . so that i can upgrade my pc to use my full ram and run my pc smoothly.

An in-place upgrade of 32 bit windows to 64 bit is not possible to do. You'll need to clean install the operating system.

Hi,There is no in-place upgrade path to make the switch from 32 bit to 64 bit, making a clean installation of Windows 10 the only viable option.

It sounds like device is not booting the install media., might check the boot order in cmos setup is the USB or DVD (depending on source media used)
