Why isn't my FSLogix profile loading correctly? Why are users getting temporary profiles?

Why are users receiving temporary profiles instead of their Fslogix profiles on a VDI, and how can it be resolved?

    One possible cause is due to stale sessions on the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). When a user does not sign out correctly, it leaves a stale session that interferes with subsequent logins, causing the system to load a temporary profile instead of the user's actual FSLogix profile.

    To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

    1. Check the registry for multiple VHD locations and remove any redundant entries.
    2. Instruct users to sign out correctly from their sessions to prevent stale sessions.
    3. Ask the affected user to sign in again after ensuring the above steps are completed.

    Also note that antivirus interference is a common cause of FSLogix container corruption. Be sure to schedule and configure your antivirus accordingly.
