I would like to adjust the spacing between the underlined text and the underline in Word or Excel. The current spacing is too close to the text. Can someone provide guidance on how to adjust this spacing for better display or printing? Thank you in advance.

How is the text displayed in the document?
If the text you want to underline is the only text in the paragraph, here is a link, you may have a look: Moving the Underline Position

Underline the text, then the leading space and your text should all be underlined.

But there is currently no good way to adjust it.
