    Hi @Rene Hansen

    I suggest you go to Word Options >Customize Ribbon > Customize after "Keyboard shorts", find the bold/fat, check its keys, and you may switch it back.

    This is a known issue in recent versions of Word. It has been reported and Microsoft is investigating the issue.
