Hello Team, is there a way for Microsoft employees to gain Azure access for training purposes? I am taking the DP-900 course and will benefit from the lab section.

If there is no employee access, is it best to sign up through the free account option on the Azure sign up page?

Thank you,

    Hi Will Casavan,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Yes, Microsoft employees can access Azure for training purposes. Here are a few ways to get started:

    1. Internal Training Programs: Microsoft offers internal training programs and resources, including Azure access. Please check with your manager or explore the internal training portal for any available opportunities.
    2. Azure Pass: Employees may be eligible for an Azure Pass, which provides a limited amount of free Azure credits. You can reach out to your internal support channels to inquire about availability.
    3. Microsoft Learn: Microsoft Learn offers free learning paths and modules, including hands-on labs that often don’t require a full Azure subscription.

If these options are unavailable, Azure offers a free account that provides complimentary access to various Azure products for 12 months. Upon sign-up, you will receive a $200 credit for the first 30 days, along with access to over 40 services that are always free.

You can sign up for Azure Free Trial subscription here: Azure free account.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
