Hi im trying to update windows 10 LTSC from build 19044.3324 to 19045, but I can't find anything on it. I'm not sure if this is realated, but in the check for updates page, it keeps saying 2024-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5046613) failed to install.

    Hello.

KB5046613 applies to OS Builds 19044.5131 and 19045.5131.

OS Build 19044 usually corresponds to Windows 10, version 21H2.

OS Build 19045 usually corresponds to Windows 10, version 22H2.

This means that KB5046613 is a cumulative update designed to provide security and functionality improvements for both versions of the OS. It does not upgrade the OS from 19044 (i.e. 21H2) to 19045 (i.e. 22H2).

For Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, upgrading from 21H2 to 22H2 usually requires performing an in-place upgrade, need an iso file.

Regarding the failed installation of KBKB5046613, here are some troubleshooting steps:

    1.What is the error code.

2.Running the update troubleshooter. Select Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Windows Update > Run the troubleshooter.

3.Manually downloading the updates from Microsoft Update Catalog.

4.Performing a clean boot. This is a way of starting Windows with only the essential services and programs, which can help eliminate any software conflicts that might interfere with the update process. Please refer to this link: How to perform a clean boot in Windows - Microsoft Support

5.Restarting the update services. You can do this by using the Services tool (services.msc) and stopping and starting the following services: Windows Update, Background Intelligent Transfer Service, Cryptographic Services, Windows Installer.

6.Check if there is enough disk space available on your system drive. If not, free up some space and try the update again.

7.Disable any third-party antivirus or firewall software temporarily and try the update again.Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
