1.If its not visible then do we need mailnick name to create the groups??
Where did you create the M365 group? If it is in the M365 center, no mailnick name is needed to create the group.
2.Are alias and mailnickname same??
The mailNickname is essentially the alias for the group that is used when creating the email address; it's the unique part of the email address before the '@' symbol.
3.Also do we have to set mailnickname and email address of same name??
As for the email address and the mailNickname, they are generally related, but they do not have to be exactly the same. The mailNickname is used to construct the primary SMTP address for the group, but you could add other email addresses (aliases) to the group that have different names. The key point is that the primary email address for the group will typically share the same name as the mailNickname for ease of reference and consistency.
