Hello,

I am requesting assistance to re-enable my Azure Cloud Shell access. Recently, when attempting to start Cloud Shell in the Azure portal, I encountered an error indicating that Cloud Shell had been disabled. This occurred following my completion of an Azure tutorial designed for educational purposes, particular this step.

Error Message:

"Sorry, your Cloud Shell failed to provision: {"code":"TenantDisabled","message":"Cloud Shell has been disabled in directory..."}. Please refresh the page. If the issue persists, please follow the troubleshooting guide Cloud Shell Troubleshooting or file a ticket New support request. Request correlation id: WESTEUROPE:20241212T063407Z:05f68f15-ef7b-420b-8822-2e5899506a00"

Details:

  • Use Case: Educational, specifically for AZ-204 exam preparation.
  • Approval: I am the Global Administrator of my account and approve this request.

Could you please advise on the next steps or request additional information through a secure method as needed to resolve this issue?

Thank you for your support.

Best regards, Chen Xu

    Hello @Chen Xu,

    Thank you for confirming.

As mentioned, I have reached out to the PG team to unblock Cloud Shell for your tenant. Once the engineering team completes the process, you should be able to access Azure Cloud Shell without any issues.

I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
