Hello,

Is anyone helping me with this threat? "pws:html/phish.hc"

I always got this threat alert. I have even removed it, but it keeps coming back.

So, what should I do about it?

Thanks.

Boot your computer into Safe Mode with Networking

Downlaod and install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and scan the system.

Reset browser settings and clearing cache, cookies, and extensions.

    Change passwords for critical accounts

    Enable two-factor authentication where possible

    Hi Pinksuvika,

Thanks for your post. Generally speaking, Devices affected by this threat might exhibit the following unexpected behavior in your device:

    • Slow performance
    • Presence of added or modified files
    • Changes in desktop settings
    • Freezing or crashing
    • Diminished storage space

Microsoft Defender Antivirus automatically removes threats as they are detected. However, many infections can leave remnant files and system changes. Updating your antimalware definitions and running a full scan might help address these remnant artifacts.
