What helped me was connecting the computer to the same power strip where the hub with the LAN cable is connected.
Since I did this six months ago, the E1RExpress error message has not appeared again.

After upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, user began to experience network issues that make the computer inaccessible remotely (using GoToMyPC or GoToAssist). Computer appears to be offline when viewed remotely. Restart of the computer makes it accessible. I notice this Event ID 27 in the event log. I suspect it is related.

2024-05-17T14:20:02.29+00:00 Thank you. I had already done all the things you recommend. A good list. I have narrowed the problem down to:
- Problem never happened under Win10. It started after the Win11 upgrade.
- Intel has never written a specific Win11 driver for the network adapter. I installed the latest driver anyway, but nothing changed.
Next thing I will try is a different network adapter that has Win11 drivers.
