I have a Windows Server 2022 environment that has no internet access. Will I be able to install and continue to use Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 perpetually?

Yes, you can install and use Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 in an offline environment like your Windows Server 2022. Here’s how you can do it:

    Installation Steps

Download the Office Deployment Tool (ODT):

    • Download the ODT from the Microsoft Download Center on a machine with internet access.

    Create a Configuration File:

      - Create a **`configuration.xml`** file to specify the installation settings.

      **Download Installation Files**:

         - Use the ODT to download the Office LTSC 2024 installation files to a local network location or a USB drive.

    Install Office LTSC 2024:

    • Transfer the installation files to your offline server and use the ODT to install Office LTSC 2024 from the local source.

    Hi @infinitypulse

Regarding activating or updating Office, you can download the installation or update package files through ODT on other devices with Internet access, and transfer them to the server for installation or updating.

For volume licensed versions of Office, such as Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024, you will need MAK or KMS activation method.

If you use KMS, you just need to regularly connect to KMS host in your local LAN to activate KMS client, no need to connect to the external network.

If you use MAK, initial activation requires an Internet connection, but subsequent activations generally do not require an Internet connection unless there are major hardware changes, the Office re-installation.
