Hiya

I am a Teams Admin, I have 60 teams in my tenancy. I would like to see how many files each team has - this is to help with scoping a tenant to tenant migration.

Is this possible OR do I have to add myself to each of the Teams and then go in through the Teams App to see the files.

    Hi @chiefworker

Teams does not have a function to directly view the number of files. However, when creating a team, SharePoint will automatically create a site with the same name as the team to store the files in the team.

You can go to Document in the SharePoint site, select the channel you want to view, and click Filter, and you can see how many items there are in the channel:

I can see all Sharepoint sites and hence the number of files in them :-)
