The above solutions you can try. If you're still having trouble archiving via the desktop app, you can also move emails to the Archive folder directly in Outlook on the Web (OWA):

    1. Log into Outlook on the Web (Office 365 or Exchange Online).
    2. Open your Inbox.
    3. Select the emails you want to archive.
    4. Click the Archive button in the toolbar. This will move them to the Archive folder.

    Hello, @John Peter

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform!

Here are the steps to enable archiving in Outlook:

    Enable AutoArchive in Outlook:

    1. Open Outlook and go to File > Options.
    2. In the Outlook Options window, select Advanced.
    3. Under AutoArchive, click AutoArchive Settings.
    4. Check the box for Run AutoArchive every n days and specify how often you want AutoArchive to run.
    5. Choose other options as needed, such as deleting old items instead of archiving them.
    6. Click OK to save your settings.

Refer to: Archive older items automatically - Microsoft Support.

What happens when you try to archive your outlook?

In classic Outlook: Go to File > Info > Tools > Clean up old items to manually archive older mail. Enable auto archive under Mailbox clean up (at the top of same menu) (Archive is not supported in new Outlook.)

If it is not an option, do you have an online archive mailbox? Archiving to a PST is not supported if online archive is enabled on the Exchange mailbox. If the mailbox is full, the admin will need to update the archive settings to remove more mail or the users will need to drag mail to the online archive folder.
