    Hello,

After you uninstall the Remote Desktop Connection app, you can reinstall it by following these instructions:

    1. Download the Remote Desktop Connection installer file.
    2. Open the file to run the installer, then follow all instructions in the workflow until setup is complete.

In order to uninstall and reinstall Remote Desktop Connection, you must use Windows 11 23H2 or later.

If the mstsc.exe is missing or not working, I also recommend trying the following steps:

    1. System File Checker Run command: sfc /scannow in an elevated Command Prompt (right-click on the Start button, select "Command Prompt (Admin)"). Allow the scan to complete and fix any detected issues.
    2. DISM In the same elevated Command Prompt, run the following command: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    Best regards,

    Karlie
