Microsoft Edge is supposed to be compatible with your system, it could indicate a deeper issue than just a simple compatibility problem.
Run the System File Checker (SFC) tool to repair corrupted system files: Using System File Checker in Windows - Microsoft Support
Also, ensure your Windows 11 is fully up-to-date. And check your antivirus or security software settings, as sometimes they may block certain applications.
I have recently had this issue. It doesn't matter what I have running, the message pops up repeatedly.
