Hello NNEA45,
thank you for posting on the Microsoft Community Forums.
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
- Check if you're entering the correct recovery key: Make sure that you're entering all the characters correctly and in the right order. You need following the steps in Finding your BitLocker recovery key in Windows - Microsoft Support to recover your BitLocker recovery key firstly.
- Automatic Startup Repair:
- Power off your laptop.
- Power it back on and immediately start pressing the "F11" key repeatedly to access the advanced startup options.
- Navigate to "Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair", Follow the prompts.
- Command Prompt:
- In the same advanced startup options, go to "Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt".
- Once in the Command Prompt, you can try to unlock the drive manually by typing:
- After unlocking, you can attempt to repair the boot files by running:
- System Restore: From the advanced startup options, select "Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore", follow the steps to restore the system to an earlier point in time (if you've set up any restore points in the past).
Hope it helps.
Kind regards,
Lei
