How can I get confirmation ID

I need to activate WIndows. I have installation ID. In the past I called a toll-free number and keyed in this number. An automated system then told me confirmation Id. Microsoft has now changed this system, probably with an AI BOT which is totally useless. I cannot get to the point to enter my Installation ID. Does anybody know how to reach support for this. I've been trying hi and low, but no joy.

Thanks.

    Hello,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

    Based on the description, I understand your question is related to phone activation. Try below steps:

    1. Typing SLUI.EXE 4 into the search bar;
    2. Select your country or region, and click/tap on Next;
    3. Call the provided phone numbers for a Microsoft Product Activation Center and tell them the installation ID , they will walk you through the steps to get the Confirmation ID. Make a note of your Confirmation ID.
    4. Enter the Confirmation ID and then click on 'Activate Windows.'
    5. Then when check the Windows Properties and if no error it will show: Windows is activated.

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Molly
