I have Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 1809 installed. Can I use the Windows Update function to directly upgrade to Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 24H2? Do I need to purchase a new product license key?

If I buy the Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC license key, does this license allow me to switch to the non-LTSC version?

    Hello,

Yes, you can upgrade from Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC to Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC. However, the upgrade process is not done through Windows Update. You will need to perform a clean installation of Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC.

For the upgrade, you will need a valid Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC license key. Purchasing a new license key for Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC will allow you to activate and use the new version on your device.

The license key for Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC is specific to that version and does not allow you to switch to the non-LTSC version. If you wish to switch to a different version, you would need to purchase the appropriate license key for that version.
