One monitor dark only one one windows installation out of two

Hi, I currently have a PC with two separate windows installations on separate SSDs. This is because one of the Win11/SSDs is company-managed and logged in through my work account, so each is disabled when the other is in use, and I select which installation to use from my motherboard's boot drive selection on start-up.

On my personal installation which is set up for gaming the two monitors I have work perfectly, but on the company managed installation of windows, one specific monitor is always much darker than the other (photo for reference)

A photo doesn't quite do it justice, the difference is pretty severe.

Hopefully relevant info:

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

There is indeed no obvious difference in the photos you uploaded. Since the display is normal in the personally installed Windows, there is no problem with both monitors.

You said that the brightness is inconsistent in the company-managed Windows. You can try the following two steps to further determine whether it is an operating system problem:

    1. Try to enter the BIOS interface and observe whether the brightness of the two monitors is consistent.
    2. If the brightness is consistent in BIOS, try to enter safe mode to see if it is normal. Safe mode only loads a limited set of driver files, which can effectively avoid this problem caused by third-party programs.

    Best Regards,

    Wesley Li
