    Hello  Aact Consultancy,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Error code 0x803fa067 typically occurs when there is an issue with the activation of Windows, often related to the legitimacy or validity of the digital license you are using. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Check the License Validity

Since you purchased the digital license from a third party, verify that the license key is valid and not already in use. Contact the seller for confirmation or a replacement if necessary.

    2. Run the Windows Activation Troubleshooter

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter that can help you resolve activation issues.

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Go to Update & Security.
    3. Click on Activation.
    4. Select Troubleshoot and follow the on-screen instructions.

    3. Re-enter the Product Key

Sometimes, simply re-entering the product key can solve the problem.

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Go to Update & Security.
    3. Click on Activation.
    4. Click on Change product key.
    5. Enter your product key and follow the instructions to activate Windows.

    4. Verify the Edition of Windows Installed

Ensure that the edition of Windows you installed matches the edition your product key is for. For example, a Windows 10 Home key won’t activate a Windows 10 Pro installation.

    5. Check Date and Time Settings

Incorrect date and time settings can sometimes interfere with the activation process.

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Go to Time & Language.
    3. Make sure the date, time, and region settings are correct.

    6. Reinstall Windows

As a last resort, you can try reinstalling Windows. Make sure to back up your data before proceeding.

    Precautions:

    • Ensure you have a legitimate and unused Windows license.
    • Be cautious when purchasing digital licenses from third parties and prefer authorized retailers.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Haijian Shan
