How to lock the mouse to a Hyper V Windows 10 VM?

Hi

I have currently a Hyper V Virtual Machine with Win 10 and my mouse enters and exits the VM as it would be a normal Window opened in the host machine.

I would like to have my mouse captured only in the VM upon entring it and at the need of using the host again to have the mouse leave the VM with a hotkey.

I tried some answers in other forums and none worked for me.

Thanks

    Hi Admin,

    Hope you're doing well.

Please try using the following methods:

    1. Ensure Hyper-V Enhanced Session Mode is enabled.
    2. Ensure Hyper-V Enhanced Session Mode Policy is enabled, you can check it in group policy.
    3. Using the Hotkey to Release Mouse, once inside the virtual machine, press Ctrl + Alt + Left Arrow to release the mouse cursor from the virtual machine.

    Best Regards

The settings are like in your Comment but I can't use the hotkey. It already releases the cursor from the vm without any hotkey. My goal is to make it do it only at pressing the hotkey.
