Microsoft Edge version 122.0.2365.63 cannot bypass certificate error

I'm trying to access an intranet server under HTTPS, whose certificate has been autogenerated.

In Edge (version : 122.0.2365.63) I only see a red "Certificate error" message, but I cannot find a way to tell the browser: "don't worry, it's OK, just ignore it and go ahead".

I try to type "thisisunsafe" on web, but it cannot bypass certificate error.

I reinstall Edge to version 121.0.2277.128 , this way is ok.

How to bypass certificate error in Microsoft Edge (version :122.0.2365.63 )

System : Windows 11, Windows Server 2019

Thank all

    Hello 新倫林,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

1.Could you please provide the detailed error message about "red "Certificate error" message"?

2.Based on the description "I reinstall Edge to version 121.0.2277.128 , this way is ok.", do you mean if you install such certificate on ***Edge with version 121.0.2277.128, there is no Certificate error?***3.Is your machine in domain or workgroup?

4.How did you get the certificate that installed in the Edge?

5.Can you use Edge and any websites normally? I mean whether red "Certificate error" message affects Edge and any websites?

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,
    Daisy Zhou

I'm having the same issue (Windows 10 22H2). Updated edge yesterday to 122.0.2365.66 and the 'thisisunsafe' bypass for certificate errors when the site uses HSTS no longer works.

I use that bypass for an internal vmware vCenter server that uses the default certificate. I cannot get to the login screen now (was working last week before updating). Took a quick look at the edge release notes for the last several builds and didn't see anything obvious.

I'd like to add a "Me too" here - "thisisunsafe" no longer works in Edge to temporarily bypass a certificate error. This still works in Chrome.

It would appear Microsoft has done something to disable this feature.

    Thanks for the report.

This is now fixed in current Microsoft Edge Canary builds (version 124). It should be in the next Microsoft Edge Beta (which is currently on major version 123) release later this week. Version 123 is scheduled to be released to the Microsoft Edge Stable population around March 21st (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-release-schedule).
