    Thank you for your feedback.

We are very sorry that the above suggestions did not solve your problem. For the problem you encountered, we can try the following further troubleshooting steps:

    1. Please confirm whether the Check Point VPN client you are using explicitly supports Windows 11 24H2 (build 26100). If it is not yet supported, you may need to wait for Check Point to release a compatible version. It is recommended to continue to pay attention to Check Point official updates.
    2. Try to run the VPN client in compatibility mode: right-click the client shortcut, select "Properties > Compatibility", set the compatibility mode to Windows 10 or other older versions, and then try to connect again.
    3. In some network environments, the MTU (maximum transmission unit) setting may affect the stability of the VPN. Try adjusting the MTU value of the network adapter, such as setting it to 1400 or less, and then test the connection.
    4. Turn on the logging function of the Check Point VPN client to record detailed error information. This can help further analyze the root cause of the problem.
    5. If the above methods still do not work, please contact Check Point's official technical support team for help.

If there is any other information to be added, please feel free to let us know.

    Hi Nelson,

    Solution Worked for me-

Checkpoint VPN version- E88.40 Check Point Remote Access VPN Clients for Windows

Change the following line in the trac.defaults file on the client PC, and restart the VPN service:

    Change the line from:

    route_conflict_resolution_method STRING "delete_create" GLOBAL 1

    To:

    route_conflict_resolution_method STRING "modify" GLOBAL 1

    Thanks

    Tulip

If you cannot apply the solution on the Security Gateway, set the same parameter in the TRAC.DEFAULTS file on the client PC, and restart the VPN service:

    Change the line from:

    route_conflict_resolution_method STRING "delete_create" GLOBAL 1

    To:

    route_conflict_resolution_method STRING "modify" GLOBAL 1

    I found a workaround.

1 - Connect usually to your checkpoint VPN

2 - wait for windows to disable the connection (no cable connected/no internet) without disconnecting or closing the vpn client do:

3 - Go to control panel (win + R, type "control", press enter)
4 - Go to networking manager
5 - Go to "change adapter configuration" (sorry I use spanish translation, maybe not exact words here)
6 - Select your ethernet (or faulty adapter) and disable it (while the vpn client is still on trying to reconnect)
    7 - Enable the adapter.
8 - Wait for the vpn client to automatically reconnect.

You'll have a nice and stable VPN connection now.

It worked for me in 2 computers with this problem.

**Note: When disconnectig, the adapter will freeze again, so you'll need to "disable and enable" the adapter again.

    I hope it helps.

None of the items mentioned above helped. The problem continues.
