How do I manage Intel RST RAID configuration when you can't install "Optane™ Memory and Storage Management" on Windows Server 2022 because there is no Microsoft Store available on that platform?

I have W2K22 running on an ASRock motherboard with Intel RST RAID drivers installed and 3 RAID volumes created (by using the UEFI BIOS-based config tool) across several disks. I want to install the Optane Memory and Storage Management tool to manage these RAIDs - but it is unfortunately only available via the MS Store.

I asked Intel how to get around this limitation, and they said I need to ask Microsoft. So here we are.

    I downloaded the latest RST driver install pkg I could find on the net and it now includes a non-store version of the application! Yay!

    This is the download I used: https://download.asrock.com/Drivers/Intel/SATA/RapidStorage(v19.5.5.1052).zip

    Right getting a bit further. I have built a new Server on a Gigabyte B760M-DS3H AX board. Intel i7 13700 2 x SATA SSD. Configured BIOS for Raid 1 using VMD setup as per Gigabyte Manual.

    I then ran through the RapidStorage(v19.5.5.1052).zip setup, rebooted and it installed the Intel Optane Memory and Storage Management.

    I can now manage the raid volume with email notifications like before.

    My original test was on a Gigabyte Z370M-D3H board with i7 8700

    So I have taken your lead and gone to ASROCK and downloaded a Z370M board Rapidstorage v17.5.0.1017_PV.ZIP and i will try that tonight.

    I have too have used these for many years on basic servers for customers. Otherwise I will be forced to using raid controllers instead.

    I will report back on the ASROCK Z370M driver on Windows 2022 tomorrow.

    Didn't help for me either... Why do you think that the app is included in the driver package? The files look the same as in previous versions..

    You can contact the motherboard manufacturer or download the RST software from Intel. Give a try to this link.
