Subject: Extended Error Occurred When Connecting to Office Server After Installing Windows 11 24H2

Hello Microsoft Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek assistance regarding an issue I encountered after upgrading to Windows 11 24H2.

Upon attempting to connect to our office server, I receive an error message stating that "an extended error has occurred." This issue has hindered my ability to access critical resources and is impacting my workflow.

I have tried the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Restarted my computer: I ensured that the upgrade was properly applied and attempted a reboot.
  2. Checked network connections: Verified that my internet connection is stable and other network resources are accessible.
  3. Reviewed firewall settings: Ensured that the necessary ports for server connection are open and that no firewall rules are blocking access.
  4. Updated network drivers: Made sure that all network drivers are up to date.
  5. Ran the Windows Network Troubleshooter: Followed the recommended steps but did not find any issues.

Despite these efforts, the problem persists. If anyone has experienced a similar issue or can provide guidance on additional troubleshooting steps or solutions, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Thank you for your assistance.

    1. Run (ctrl+r): control /name Microsoft.CredentialManager
    2. Select Windows references.
    3. Add Windows reference.
    4. Enter your remote path with credentials.
