What does Windows Server 2019 Standard Evaluations means to my server? I am afraid that any time the server will stop working again.

Dear Microsoft team. My server crushed last October and now having a message "Windows server 2019 Standard Evaluation. I do have a licence but not sure on how to activate it without compromising the data captured already. Please help am afraid that this message is indicating a temporary licence. I do have a new licence for the server but how to activate it without compromising my data.

    Hi SCS Admin,

    to activate your new license, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open the Server Manager on your server.
    2. Click on the "Local Server" option.
    3. Under the "Properties" section, you will see the "Windows Activation" option. Click on "Activate Windows".
    4. Enter your new license key and click on "Activate".

    Activating your new license should not compromise your data. However, it is always recommended to back up your data before making any changes to your server.
