2024_06: Print Screen button works with HUGE delay after Win10-Win11 upgrade.

After the update to Win11, I found that Windows' response to pressing the Print Screen button has slowed down drastically.
Instead of instantly getting the image to the clipboard, I have to wait 3-7 seconds for the clipping tool interface to appear.

If case of deactivating the clipping tool interface the speed increased to 2-5 sec, but pressing the button doesn't always work.

It seems that the system, after pressing, launches some application with a big delay. Such a delay did not exist in previous versions of Windows.

I read similar discussions but they didn't help me: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/why-does-printscreen-button-not-work-after/e77a3ff4-7a45-46d3-ae17-5f3db213762bhttps://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-button-print-screen-paste-doesnt-work-is/3abdab2b-10c6-4193-a0ec-081e52e40f47

    Hello.

When you mention that you have disabled the clipping tool, do you mean that you have turned off the options "Settings" > "Accessibility" > "Keyboard" > "Turn on the Screenshot feature with the PrtScn button"?

If the response is slow when you use the shortcut key "Windows key + Shift + S" to take a screenshot, open the clipping tool application and click the screenshot with the mouse to test whether the same problem exists in this way.

Here are a few possible solutions:

    1. After upgrading Windows 11, check that all available system patches have been installed.
    2. Try disabling Xbox Game Bar to avoid conflicts. Open Settings, go to "Games" -> "Xbox Game Bar" - turn the "Enable Xbox Game Bar for game recording and chat" option off.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards

"Settings" > "Accessibility" > "Keyboard" > "Turn on the Screenshot feature with the PrtScn button"

    YES.

when you use the shortcut key "Windows key + Shift + S" to take a screenshot

The 3 sec delay to "put screen with shadow" and show tool panel on the top.

In case of pressing the PrtScn button - whole Win11 is freezing for 3 sec minimum. the system does not respond to keystrokes or mouse clicks at this time.

Perhaps a clarification will be useful - I work with Win11 remotely via RDP. I worked in exactly the same way before the update from Win10 for 5-7 years on the same pair of laptops. Hardware, Internet channel and other parameters did not change. Only the update to Win11.

As I wrote earlier, the hardware has not changed for decades.
The only change in the environment is the change in the version of Windows on the target laptop.

Points 1 and 2 are not applicable in this context, please do not draw attention to them in the future.

    point 3:

system resources utilization: cpu 8%; memory 43%, other ~0-1%

    point 4:

There are no new updates. The last update check was 3 minutes ago.
