System controls don't render in light mode.

System controls and info in the system and app UI are invisible in light mode. Dragging a window, hovering, or licking on them will sometimes make them temporarily visible. Sometimes hovering over visible icons, like the volume icon in the system tray, turns them invisible.
Dark mode renders fine.
See examples below:

All of the above will be turn visible if start clicking in the boxes, though it often won't stay visible.

Rebooting, updating, etc. hasn't helped.

    Hello  ThomasAmos,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the information you have provided, it seems that you are experiencing issues with the visibility of system controls and information in light mode on your Windows 11 Pro for Workstations device.

You can try updating your graphics driver to the latest version. You can do this by going to Device Manager, locating your graphics driver, right-clicking on it, and selecting "Update driver." If there is an operating system update, you can also try it.

If the issue persists, you can try resetting your device to its default settings. To do this, go to Settings > System > Recovery and select "Reset this PC."

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Haijian Shan

Thanks. There wasn't a newer version of the video drivers, but I ran the installer anyway and it fixed the issue.
