Converting a Synced User Object to Cloud-Only in Microsoft Entra

How can a synced user object be converted to a cloud-only object in Microsoft Entra?

An attempt was made to delete the user from Active Directory and wait for the synchronization to occur via Azure AD Connect. After this, the user was restored from the Entra portal, but the user still appears as a synced object and cannot be edited in the Entra portal.

    Hi, SF-6505

    An account cannot be converted individually. The unique method to convert synced objects to cloud only is to turn off the directory synchronization but all synced objects will be converted to Cloud only:

    Turn off directory synchronization for Microsoft 365

    So I you should create new user if you want avoid turnoff Directory synchronization:
