Hello, a client of my company would like to know if this driver is free to download and use. Is there any specific place where it says it's free to download and use?

Thank you for your time.

    Hi @Ajoy Moreno, Juan

Yes, the Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server is available for free download and use.

You can download the driver from the official Microsoft website. During installation, you will encounter a license agreement that outlines the terms of use. It is advisable to review this agreement to understand any specific conditions associated with the driver's use.

    Best regards,

    Cosmog

Yes it is a freely redistributable runtime needed by many applications. It has a redistributable installer for installing the client as part of larger setup programs. The bulk of the information about it is here.

If you download the installer and extract the license readme you can get to the terms of use. Basically it is freely usable in your applications.
