Hi Everyone,

I just upgraded our users from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro. Some were able to join Join this device to Azure Active Directory but two of our users don't have the Join this device to Azure Active Directory option.

User's image

what seems to be the problem? and do we have another way to join them in AAD? Thank you

    The answers above did not work for me, as it was not the case. What the issue was, another microsoft account was added in that device and somehow because of that account the option was removed. I removed the account, restarted the devices (2 of them) and the option appeared.

    @John Ferrolino ,

    For Windows 11, the option is only available as a local admin/local account. Regular users cannot join their accounts to Azure AD.

    Other possibilities and steps to try:

    • The device is already joined to on-premises Active Directory. If this is the case, you will not get the Azure AD join option because you would need to perform Hybrid Azure AD join in that case using either of the following methods:
    • They can create a new offline profile and log in with that profile to join to Azure AD
    • Make sure they are not using the Home edition. If they are, they will need to upgrade the edition since the Home edition cannot be joined to Azure AD

    Let me know if this helps and if those users still face this issue after confirming these things.
