Hi @James James
It sounds like there are a couple of potential issues at play here—either something in the browser’s cached credentials is interfering or there might be a configuration/licensing issue on the organization’s side. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can work through:
- Sign Out Completely and Reboot:
• Make sure that all Microsoft sessions are signed out (Teams, Office 365, Outlook, etc.). Sometimes, a lingering session in the default (non-incognito) mode can force the wrong account into play.
• Close the browser entirely, then reopen and try signing in again.
- Clear Browser Data Thoroughly:
• Although you mentioned clearing your cookies, consider clearing local storage and cached data completely or try another browser to rule out cache issues.
• Alternatively, use a new or ‘clean’ browser profile if possible.
- Verify the Account Being Used:
• Confirm that when logging in, the TEG account credentials are used. If multiple accounts are present (like a personal Microsoft account), the browser might be inadvertently trying to use that account.
• Sometimes, the Teams login process defaults to the account that’s signed in elsewhere in that browser. Use the “Use another account” option if you see it, to ensure you’re using the TEG account.
