Teams needs Edge WebView2 to be installed but installation fails, saying that the Runtime is already installed.

So far, I found the easy solution is:

I had an update to Windows 11 that failed and rolled back. Afterwards, Teams wouldn't load due to a WebView2 missing error. All of the other posts pointed to Add Remove Programs but it wasn't there for me. Yet I was getting a message that it was already installed. Running the Installer as Administrator was the secret sauce and not mentioned anywhere else. I hope this comment helps someone else find your post. Thank you!

Worked like a charm.
Go to Registry Editor at the following location: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\Clients\
Delete {F3017226-FE2A-4295-8BDF-00C3A9A7E4C5} Then install WV2. https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2?form=MA13LH That should hopefully do the trick.

The error may be related to your Microsoft Edge.
Please open your Control Panel > Uninstall a program > search “Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime” > right-click on it > Change > Repair.
Then, restart your computer and go to retry the installation.
If it doesn’t work, I would suggest you reinstall the Microsoft Edge using the latest version. Or report a new question in Microsoft Edge to first solve the Microsoft Edge error.
You can also consider reinstalling Windows, which may resolve your issue faster.

I can't even find the webviewer in my apps to begin with
