How to disable Windows 10 update popup

Hi,

I have several computers in a network that I've set to auto-update at certain times (out of business hours). I've turned notifications off but I still get a popup during business hours asking me to complete updates that I need to hide. Is there any way to hide this popup and just have the updates complete at the time I've told them to?

Agreed with Reza, you need to turn off the notifications setting. User's image

You can also try to disable Windows update notifications using Registry Editor:

Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
Type regedit in the box and press Enter.
Select Yes when the User Account Control (UAC) prompt appears.
In the Registry Editor window, use the left pane to navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Policies > Microsoft > Windows.
Locate the WindowsUpdate key. If you can’t find it, right-click on the Windows key and select New > Key. Rename the key as WindowsUpdate.
Right-click the WindowsUpdate key and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
Rename the DWORD as SetUpdateNotificationLevel.
Double-click the newly created DWORD and change its Value data to 0.
Click OK.

Thanks for the feedback.

I can confirm the notifications were already turned off in the windows update/advanced settings.

I have completed the following and will wait to see if I get popups going forward:

Regedit key addition

Group Policies

In group policies I have enabled the following:

Turn off auto-restart notifications for update installations

Display options for update notifications (set to 2, Turn off all notifications including restart warnings)

and to ensure I still get my security updates but just don't popup telling me, I have enabled:

Configure automatic updates

set to 4, automatically download and install on schedule at 03:00

Will report back if I get anymore popups.

Tried this RegEdit addition on my windows 7 PC. Rebooted and started the Edge browser but I still get the annoying "Microsoft Edge is no longer supported .... " banner at the top of my screen. Have I missed a step ?
