    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to update.

The error code 0x8024500c indicates a problem with the connection policy that prevents Windows Update redirection. This can happen if the policy settings are configured to scan against WSUS but the connection to the WSUS server is not properly established

Try check the registry settings under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\DoNotConnectToWindowsUpdateInternetLocations and ensure the value is set to 0.

Make sure that the Windows Update service and the Windows License Manager service are enabled and running. Check the network configuration allows the computer to connect to the necessary update servers.

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Molly

Start with the client side script and if that doesn't help, follow the troubleshooting steps below.

I am assuming you have WSUS within your organization. If you are using WUfB, run the gpresult command in the troubleshooting steps to find out what policies are applied that might be causing the computer to not be able to contact WU.
