I'm trying to create a certificate request in IIS; I complete all the information, choose the file name to save the request and the request hangs on this screen:Screenshot 2025-04-03 at 09.53.01

I've generated quite a few requests in the past & it's created the request OK.

    Hi @Chris Gale,

When this problem occurs, have you tried to see if the certificate is created and located in the path which under the path: (local computer\Certificate Enrollment Requests\Certificates)?

I'm not sure if this is a UI error or conflict that causes the hang, but you could try restarting IIS Manager, or reinstalling it and trying the operation again to see if the certificate can be created correctly.

    Best regards,

Are you hitting this every time or just once? Besides, you can use the command line tool certreq to create certificate requests as workaround, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/system-center/scom/obtain-certificate-windows-server-and-operations-manager?view=sc-om-2025&tabs=Enterp#request-a-certificate-using-a-request-file (steps under "Create a certificate request file" section).
