lab environment not working in course.

I'm trying to do https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/training/modules/deploy-iaas-solutions-with-azure-sql/6-exercise-provision-sql-server-azure-virtual-machine and when I go to the page I'm getting a "We're sorry. The lab environment needed to complete the exercises in this unit is temporarily unavailable." Is there a way to see if when the lab environment would be available again.

    Hi Stephen,

    You can complete the exercise without having lab environment using your local Windows PC. There are some free tools you need to download and install, but that only takes about 10 minutes. The lab environment was a convenience that saved you from having to manually install these tools.

    Please note, as mentioned on the page, you need to have an Azure subscription. You can use Azure Free trial account if you want.

    Here is the setup guide. If you have questions/issues getting things installed on your PC please let me know. Once you have the tools on your local PC and your Azure subscription you can complete the exercise instructions. Please make sure you delete any resources created in Azure after completing the exercise.

    In regards to when the lab environment will be available again, there has been no public announcement and it has been unavailable for months. I don't recommend waiting.
