Intune Compliance Policy for Third Patry Software

Thank you for your comment. We do have a similar configuration in our environment. However, Intune fails to detect the third-party security software Trend Micro on some devices, which causes them to be marked as non-compliant.

Is there any specific Windows OS prerequisite for the "Windows Defender Security Center" to detect the presence of third-party antivirus software via Intune?

As a first point of troubleshooting, you can try the following

1. Check if Windows Security Center Service is enabled. This is required to detect any AV on the device.
2. Run the below command on the device and check if you see TrendMicro details.
   Get-CimInstance -Namespace root\SecurityCenter2 -ClassName AntivirusProduct

The output should be something like,

If you do not see Trend Micro details here, then you have to try in registering the same using the above link I shared.

Also, from Intune perspective, try the custom compliance policy method as you can define the JSON to detect the product and mark compliance accordingly.
