No guarantees, but here are a couple of thoughts/suggestions. One in regard to the Store app and another to a different approach.
- In regard to the Store app: Try uninstalling it and re-installing it from the Store, again. Could try Repair & Reset in Settings > Apps, but do this, straightaway, instead.
- Try Copilot (web) in Edge. See if it behaves properly, there. If so, that can be installed as an app... which, actually, has 6 benefits over the Store app.
