Is there any information regarding the addition of GPT-4.1 to the Azure OpenAI Assistants API? Currently, the Azure OpenAI services appear to provide fewer models for the Assistants API compared to the original Assistants available in the OpenAI playground. While GPT-4.5 has been integrated as an assistant model, there is curiosity about whether GPT-4.1 will be made available soon, especially since it seems to be accessible for OpenAI's assistants. Why is it not yet offered in Azure?

    Hello Georgi Harlev,

Currently, there is no specific information regarding the addition of GPT-4.1 to the Azure OpenAI Assistants API. The available models for the Assistants API in Azure do not yet include GPT-4.1, which is accessible in OpenAI's assistants. The availability of models in Azure may differ from those in OpenAI's playground due to various factors, including regional support and deployment strategies.

As of now, GPT-4.1 is available in select regions; however, it has not yet been integrated into the Azure OpenAI Assistants API. For the most up-to-date information on model availability and future support, we recommend regularly checking the What's new in Azure OpenAI Service section in the Azure OpenAI documentation.

I Hope this helps. Do let me know if you have any further queries.
