Why is there a "Switch User" option when pressing Alt+F4 on a device with only one user profile? Additionally, when switching, the same profile appears with a different background on the sign-in screen, but signing in leads back to the same profile.

Hi, I'm Henry! I will share some explanations with you.

    1. The "Switch User" option appears even when there is only one user profile because Windows is designed to support multiple accounts. This feature remains available in case additional users are added in the future.
    2. Why Does the Same Profile Appear with a Different Background?
      1. When you select Switch User, Windows resets the session and returns to the sign-in screen, which may have a different background than your desktop. This is normal behavior, as the sign-in screen background can be set independently from the desktop wallpaper.
    3. What Happens When You Sign Back In?
      1. Since there is only one user profile on the system, switching users simply brings you back to the same account. The system does not log you out but instead returns you to the login screen, where you re-enter your credentials to resume your session.
      2. If you'd like to customize the sign-in screen background, you can do so under Settings > Personalization > Lock Screen.

Let me know if this explanation helps clear up any confusion.
