Microsoft 365 repairing too long

Microsoft 365 repairs typically take anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of hours, but if it’s been running for seven hours, it might be stuck. Here’s what you can do:

Steps to Fix the Repair Delay:

1. Restart Your Computer – Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve the issue.
2. Try Online Repair –
   • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
     • Find Microsoft 365, click Modify, and select Online Repair.
3. Check for Background Processes – Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and see if any Office-related processes are stuck.
4. Uninstall and Reinstall – If repair isn’t working, uninstall Microsoft 365 using the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant and reinstall it.
