Adrian Caswell hi there,
sounds like company portal is overdoing it with the pin prompts, right? ))
for microsoft intune (the clean way), u gotta tweak the app protection policies. head to the endpoint manager admin center, go to apps > app protection policies. find the policy linked to outlook and adjust the 'access requirements' section. set 'pin for access' to 'no' this should stop the annoying prompts )) microsoft docs exact steps here.
if company portal is still clinging on, uncheck 'require managed browser' and 'require app protection policies' in the compliance policies. sometimes intune gets clingy ))
general, will works for other setups too (I hope lol), aha, sometimes the pin thing sticks around because of conditional access policies. check azure ad > security > conditional access. look for any rules forcing mfa or pin on mobile apps adjust or exclude outlook if needed.
also, worth trying this, on the user's android, go to settings > apps > company portal > storage > clear cache & data. sometimes old settings haunt the device like a bad ghost story ;)
and hey, if u fully remove company portal later, just ensure outlook is set up with modern auth. no need for extra apps hogging space ))
let me know if the pin monsta comes back, happy to help squash it again :)
Best regards,
Alex
