We just found out that the Azure backup stopped working since February 2024, but we didn't get any alert or notification. We were billed every month. Even after we cancelled the subscription, we were still charged. How to stop this billing and get refund for the service not provided by Azure.

    Hi Fang Yuan

If you have already canceled your Azure subscription, you should not incur further charges. However, if you are still being billed, it may be necessary to check if there are any remaining active services associated with your account that could be causing the charges.

Azure typically sends notifications regarding billing and service status. If you did not receive any alerts, it might be beneficial to review your notification settings or check if there were any issues with your email delivery.

For issues related to billing and refunds, you will need to contact Azure support

For billing and subscription-related issues, please follow these step by step to create a support request:**

    1. Go to the Azure Portal, click on Help + Support, and then select Create a support request.
    2. In the Support + Troubleshooting pane on the right, type "Billing" in the search box, select Billing, and then click Next.
